Following the months of suspension of all soccer activity, we are delighted to announce that this week sees the return of MDSA Elite teams to training! Teams are following strict guidelines to adhere to the current requirements and recommendations of Contra Costa Health, AYSO National, US Soccer and the State of California. Training will look very different for the upcoming weeks and months, but we’re very happy to see our teams social distanced but together on the fields again.

GUARANTEED FALL REGISTRATION EXTENDED TO FRIDAY JULY 17

Guaranteed Placement Registration for our in-house 2020 Fall Recreational Soccer Program has been extended. Register by Friday, July 17 to secure a spot for play this Fall. Registrations received after this date will be accepted on a waitlisted basis.

We are planning for all possible formats to get players safely on the fields this Fall, including delayed season start, smaller roster sizes and reduced division sizes. Fees will be reduced or refunded if the season is shortened or cancelled.

COVID-19 RETURN TO PLAY PHASES & GUIDELINES

We recommend all families review MDSA’s COVID-19 Return to Play Plans, available now on our website, to understand the protocols and precautions we will be following as we return to the fields. MDSA has established a Safety Commission to answer any questions or concerns families may have at this time: safety@mdsoccer.org.

Phases of Return to Play are fluid – we are currently in Phase 1, but can advance or suspend play at any time as we receive guidance from local, county and state bodies.

We are 100% Volunteer-Run

Without volunteers, kids can’t play!

We are currently looking for a number of important Board & Staff Positions, including:
– League Treasurer
– Division/Program Coordinators
– Picture Day Coordinator
– Marketing/Social Media Coordinator

Other opportunities to join in and help out also available!
