MDSA teams enjoyed success in both the 10U boys and girls divisions at the AYSO Presidents Cup (Area 2J) in Sunnyvale last weekend.

MDSA Quakes 10U Girls Select team achieved third place.

Over a marathon weekend the Quakes won 5 of their 6 games, scoring 22 and allowing only 6.  Quakes won all three games on Saturday but were unlucky to lose 0-2 in a hard fought semi-final played in very strong winds.  The girls bounced back to win their 3rd place consolation game 5-1 against their fellow MDSA Girls U10 select team, the Diamonds.

MDSA Revolution 10U Boys team took First Place in the U10 Monroe Division

Revolution also battled through crazy winds and tough group games to reach the final game and take home their first medals too.

Revolution are pictured with their medals, Coach Jason Habermeyer and Coach Chris Dombrowski – proving just how cold it was in Sunnyvale on Sunday!

An amazing achievement for all three MDSA teams to finish in the top 4 at such a competitive tournament.
