After a two year break due to Covid restrictions, the Concord Cup returned to the local soccer fields last weekend with more than 100 teams participating at ages from U10 to U19.
MDSA Black Widows took 1st place in the U10 girls division.
Coaches: Joe Lucia, Evan Kreutzinger, Tracey Collins
Black Widows went undefeated in the U10 division scoring a total 23 goals and giving up 0 in the Concord Cup this weekend. They played MDSA Black Flames in the finals, winning 3-0.
MDSA Diablos took 1st place in the U10 boys division.
Coaches: Richard Watkins, Ryan Carone & Avik Raichoudri
The Diablos went undefeated through the weekend, scoring 25 & conceding 3, and continue their incredibly successful select season.
MDSA Diamonds took 2nd place in the U12 girls division.
Coaches: Juan Guerrero and Amy Scott
Diamonds fought hard in the championship game against a highly ranked team but finished in second place and ended the weekend with 19 goals in 4 games.
MDSA Outlaws took 1st place in the U14 boys division.
Coaches: Joe Davis, Eric Beaubien, Jeff Robinow, Jerad Kissack
